Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving painting by Norman Rockwell,
embodies our freedoms. (Notice Norman's double
self portraits in the 2 lower corners.)

I'm thankful for the freedom to assemble with those we love and the bounty that God has enabled us to share!

A Returning Marine - Norman Rockwell

I'm thankful for our Soldiers and the price they pay for freedom– often far beyond the battlefields.

Happy Thanksgiving to you! Thank you for remembering our soldiers today.

You have some lovely Thanksgiving posts here. I had printed the first NR painting in my blog, but I didn't know he had two self portraits in there.

I had lost track of your blog address so I am glad you wrote to me today. I put a link to your blog on mine so I can read yours all the time now.

I never knew those were his self-portraits, Ha!
(after reading about those fleas...you have me scratching my head!)
My internet was OFF when I got up...thankfully it decided to behave so I could post my sale. Whew.
Did you finally get some pie????

Wonderful images! I've seen that Norman Rockwell picture many times and never noticed he'd painted himself in the corners. Have a wonderful holiday weekend!
