KJ, you know I love everything you ever write. I guess if I had to pick a favorite it would be ... no, I can't choose.
But, I did love Haplology. Oh, and I adored the Vogue series. And, then there was Mental Pause Moments.
I am your devoted fan.
You have a wonderful blog...so glad I found it.......
Cuddles and Cranky's dialogue broke me up!

"Mireille Guiliano authored the book, French Women Don’t Get Fat. I purchased both the softcover and the audio version over a year ago, favoring Mireille's narrative because anything sounds better in French!"

Also, I liked your lassi recipe. Mango lassi are my favorite and I love chai as well. Can't wait to try the mango chai lassi...wow, lots of yumminess in 1 drink!
Watermelon that works like viagra? My husband does not like watermelon.
I can't imagine living in CA with earth quakes. I really fear them, but I guess when you live there maybe it is just the way it is. Like in Virginia with the hurricanes. I didn't fear them at all because really they didn't do much, some flooding and sometimes a bit of power outage.
What a cool book, I hope I win. I liked your post about grits, which I have never tried, but now I would really like to.
Magnifique; merci!
I liked your watermelon/viagra bit. :)

Since I am a new reader of yours, I quickly picked Feb. I landed on your post talking about Pat, from Back Porch Musings giving away a copy of Mary Carol Garrity's book about weddings. That was interesting to me because she just opened a new shop here in KC, MO last Fall. She is a very friendly and talented lady and I am so happy to see her popularity extend outside of the Mid-west. Thanks for your chance to win a great book, too!
Thanks for the giveaway!!

The post on Xanadu caught my eye - I did a paper on Coleridge when I was in high school, and "Kubla Khan" figured prominently in it.
Love your blog, I think I'll be back from time to time. Thanks for the giveaway!
Crossing my fingers to win this one!
I loved your post on April 28 about your first ride on the Small World attraction in Disneyland! Your writing was so eloquent, and I thought it was sweet that 5th grade you started an International Club with a friend after that! A lovely memory shared with us!
here is my comment.
and i watched a story about the quake on the news. glad nothing too serious happened besides your lovies getting to experience mother nature.

I read In Basket, and agree, now that you mention it, author unknown is kinda sad
I read on February 11th about Tasha Tudor. You linked to her website and showed a picture of her cookbook. I LOVE Tasha Tudor and was very sad about her recent death. I also love the Valentine's Day ideas! Thanks for the great giveaway and I hope I win!
Hi KJ! Please enter me in your wonderful giveway...I had some catching up to do here. Enjoyed reading True Grits! I have never been a fan of grits. Funny, because I like Cream Of Wheat and it is similar...
Penny
Enter me in yours, too! Sounds like a great book :)

Thanks for the great giveaway! nw_wife(at)hotmail(dot)com
I read a post in your archives about aging. It had a bunch of quotes and they were SO funny!
Looks great! Thanks for the giveaway!
This book sounds lovely
jasonncaryn at yahoo dot com
I would, love,love,love that book.
I agree with you, I always feel a little sadness when I read a poem and then read "Author Unknown". It's almost as though the person behind the words never existed.
Your bunnies are adorable, I have a little soon to be 5 y/o who would love to do nothing but spoil them with fresh Dandelion leaves and carrots.
I'd love to win this book and I read your quake story.

C'est Bon! I'd love to win this book. I am trying to improve on my french and this would really help. I also looked back into your archives and I found a post I really liked: S. M. I. L. E. I totally agree with what you had to say about not many people smiling now a days. And when you do see people smiling or people smiling it is truly contagious. Even smiling on a day that you feel less than perfect, instantly lifts your spirit. Thank you so much for sharing all your thoughts with us! Also, thanks for the giveaway.

Hey thanks for saying I'm a cutie :) That was like getting a rock out of your shoe :) No, better!
I hope I win KJ because I'm gonna save you on shipping! I'm coming out to pick it up myself :)
You say you have a guest cottage out back? Oh? Cottage cheese in the morning...welllll...bury it in a layer of Lasagna with some mozzarella on top and I'll take a bite....hey! Do I get extra credit if I leave the longest comment ever? Did I tell you that I was working for American Airlines when we got married and we took our honeymoon in Monterey? $24 came out of my paycheck for 2 round trips in 1st class :) We stayed at Green Gables Inn. Have I told you already? I don't care if you do have earthquakes...I say California is so great I'd stay anyway. There used to be a song that said California girls are the sweetest in the world...each one is a song in the making...and I was so jealous! Always wishing I could be a California girl. Did you ever want to be a Kentucky girl KJ? Hey wouldja look at that I'm out of space! Good night KJ!
KJ, thanks so much for stopping by my blog and my Etsy. I've been reading through your posts. I didn't know that people could still get milk delivered. Where have I been?!
