You KNOW Karen ..that I grew up in Wisconsin and Illinois and I remember jumping in the leaves that were piled in the street UNTIL my Father came and told us of the dangers of doing that.. We are so thankful to be in the EAST ..where we see the beauty of this season each year. It does not hit our part of PA until about the end of October!!!
I know that Barry enjoyed that part of eastern falls, too. Here, our leaves turning are mostly from Liquid Amber trees. Many trees lose leaves, but without the splendor.
