Irish Breakfast Tea Giveaway

I so enjoy giving!  With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner and my first grand-baby due at the end of this month, I am feeling especially generous!

I am giving away a 4 ounce tin of Harney and Son's loose Irish Breakfast Tea!  The deadline is Midnight PST on March 17th!  I will give you extra entries for anyone that you refer to this post as long as they mention your name in their comments.  You may enter once a day.  Have fun!

Raining Shamrocks

I found this unusual and lovely angel with soft hued shamrocks alighting upon her.  I'm sure you will agree that this vintage illustration is far from the usual depictions of Glocca Morra and leprechauns.  Notice the sparse 4-leafed clover in the scene, with one tucked into her reddish curls.

RE:JOYCE

I placed a Valentine in my last post.  It did have merit and it paired nicely with my tea theme.  It was the first week of March and I was still tossing rose petals.

My friend, Joyce Mahan playfully reminded me that St. Patrick's Day is soon to be upon us.  So, I'm loosening my stronghold on Valentine's Day and raising a banner to St. Patty.  Drawing from the Irish on both sides of my family (Matheny and Drummy), I have no trouble celebrating my Irish roots.  And, in the spirit of retro, here is a vintage illustration.
